• Helped students and teachers with requests varying from computer setup to VM configuration.

Interventive Learning Project
2021

• Collaborative Senior Design project to build an automated student progress tracking system. This project was a continued development effort, but only improvements made by me will be described and shown here.


• Based on the state's standards for grade school math, this project was a guided learning portal inteded to teach math with minimal teacher input. The program ensured that students fully mastered a subject through progressive difficulty, only allowing the student to progress through subject mastery.


• Created a dynamic interface where the teacher can see how well all of their students are doing. This dynamic interface includes a search bar to find a specific student, color coded dots to symbolize how well the studnet knows the standard, a button to describe what the standard is, and a button to automaticlly assign that standard to the student.




• Worked alongside former teachers and former administration to help create the standards that mirror the state's standards and to design an interface that would work best for teachers.
• Worked alongside former teachers and former administration to transfer as much work out of the teacher's hands and into the application as possible.

Grainger
DevOps Contractor
Summer 2018 and 2019

• Wrote a program for Grainger that input a Python-based ticketing feed into an HTML-based website that has since been moved into production.


• Drafted a series of departmental communications that instructed leaders and contributors on office move, vendor management strategies.


• Converted numerous programs from Perl to Python to improve efficiency and decrease execution cycles.


• Automation and development assignment utilizing Slack for health checks.


• Learned and hosted projects on AWS.


• Helped write a program system that asked managers to approve access to Unix systems for the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (aka. SOX audit). For this program system I wrote programs that helped managers assign their duty to someone else, sent result emails to managers after their job was finished, helped fix many run cases, decorated websites, and many more.



• Created a reporting html page for the above-mentioned program system that has a bash script to collect the data and a python program to dynamically generate an html page.




• Wrote a "Capacity Bot" that took data of the CPU and memory of 1,000+ servers and ran equations with their respective data to see if the server is being over or under allocated. Also, within those 1,000+ servers if they were a Linux server then the program reached out to the server to see if any directory was too full or not being used at all. Then it took all of the calculated data and neatly put it into an Excel spreadsheet. In order for this program to run in a timely manner many parallel processes needed to be used.


• Wrote a batch program that runs on a big monitor every morning, resets Chrome, opens URLs which it reads from a text document, then it opens pdfs found in a shared folder, and finally it rotates each tab every 15 seconds. This program was necessary because the pdfs found in the shared folder changed names every day so a static window would not work. This batch program calls many outside languages as well including Python and Windows Powerscript.

• Everything Music is a mock website where users can browse, search and upload different music.
